Staff Biographies
Carey Casey - Chief Executive Officer - Carey joined the Center in March 2006. Through his work across the country, he has earned a reputation as a dynamic communicator—especially on the topic of men being good fathers—and as a compassionate ambassador, especially within the sports community. Carey joins the Center after 18 years in various roles with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, where most recently he was president of the FCA Foundation. Eric Snow - National Director, WATCH D.O.G.S. - Eric joined the National Center in February, 2008, with skills and experiences perfectly suited to lead WATCH D.O.G.S. In 1998, Eric played a key role in the very first program at George Elementary School in Springdale, Arkansas, and is credited with giving the program its name. Eric and his wife Valerie have been married 25 years and have two children. For more... Samuel Barnes - Program Developer, WATCH D.O.G.S. Brian Blomberg - Chief Development Officer - Brian joined the Center in 2005 after a nine-year tenure with Promise Keepers as its Chief Financial Officer and Chief Development Officer. Brian and his wife Marnie have been married 20 years and live in Denver with their two sons and daughter. Lucy Bloom - Manager, Father~Daughter Summits and Father of the Year Events - Lucy joined the Center in 2003 with a background in youth ministry. Her position allows her to pursue her passion for connecting the hearts of fathers with the needs of adolescent/young adult daughters. She and her husband Bob are the proud parents of three sons. For more... Chris Danenhauer - Program Developer - Chris, who has a passion for city and community involvement, joined the WATCH D.O.G.S. staff and NCF family in February 2007. Chris and his wife, Audrea, were married in 1997; they currently reside in northwest Arkansas where they are the proud parents of two handsome sons and a beautiful daughter. Chris recently received a master's degree in Business Administration from Harding Universitiy. Brock Griffin - Writing, Publications, and Internet Services - Brock's roles include helping to write and edit the Center's articles, books, fathers.com weekly emails, and Today's Father radio programs, as well as handling some of the Center's graphics and Internet projects. He has been with the National Center since 1991. He and his wife Tara have been married 19 years and have three children. For more... Frank Hannon - Program Developer - Frank joined the WATCH D.O.G.S. team in September 2007. He has a background in ministry, having served with his family as missionaries in Austria for 12 years. He and his wife Nancy have been married for 20 years and have a teenage son. Cathy Henton - Receptionist and Customer Service - If you have called the Center or come into our Overland Park office, more than likely you know Cathy's enthusastic and helpful voice. Her kind and welcoming personality makes you immediately feel like part of our family. Cathy has served as the receptionist at NCF since August 2002. Before coming to the Center, Cathy enjolyed a 29-year career in the aviation industry. Cathy and her daughter live in the greater Kansas City area. Shelly Perry - Operations Coordinator - Shelly joined the WATCH D.O.G.S. team in August 2005 as a school developer. She has a diversified background in marketing and project management and lends a helping hand to a growing program. Shelly and her husband, Bryan, were married in 1990 and have a daughter and a son. Their entire family enjoys a variety of sports and other outdoor activities. Bea Peters - Database Coordinator - Bea has been with the Center since 1996 and has served in a number of different positions as we have grown. She and her husband Jim have been married for 23 years and have a teenage son. Vera Lu Pollard - Accounting Clerk - Before joining the Center in June 2006 to provide accounting support on a part-time basis, Vera Lu had enjoyed a brief time of retirement from a wonderful 25-year career as a full-time secretary. Vera Lu and her husband, Ray, have been married since 1981. While very proud of their three grown children and their spouses, Vera Lu and Ray are ecstatic about their seven grandchildren! Sherri Solis - Assistant to the CEO, Training Coordinator - Sherri joined the NCF staff in March 2006 as coordinator and support person for our many Train the Trainer programs. She comes to us after serving 11 years as director of a children's center. Sherri and her husband Dennis have two grown children and one grandchild. Steve Wilson - Director of Finance and Support Services - Steve manages a broad range of administrative functions including accounting, human resources, risk management, database and network management, purchasing, and order fulfillment. Steve joined the Center in 2001 after a 15-year career in health care management and one year helping to establish a fathering center in Ukraine. Married since 1987, Steve and his wife, Michelle, have four children.
